Error – Type/Code is not setup

  Q:  On the Time Report page, I receive an error saying a Type/Code is not setup, but nothing is missing on the Account Manager page.  How do I fix this? A:  This is usually a permission issue.  Open the API Member in ConnectWise Manage and see if any service boards appear in the Restricted Boards section and remove them.

  Q:  Should I configure my Service Manager as COGS Only? A:  Service Managers are typically considered COGS.  However, if the service manager never enters any billable time on tickets, then the Special Type option should be set to “None” under the additional settings icon (Blue Gear).

How do I configure StreamlineIT Members in LaborCast?

Q:  How do I configure StreamlineIT Members in LaborCast? A:  On the Member Manager page, open the Pay History dialog for the StreamlineIT member.  Set the Pay Type to “Hourly”, the Pay Rate to “0.00”, and the Effective date, to the first date the member entered time in ConnectWise Mange. You will also want to set the Special Type option to “Ignore” under the additional settings icon (Blue Gear).
