The following only applies to users of QuickBooks Desktop, which use the built in ConnectWise Integration. File export/import or QuickBooks Online are not affected.
Issue: After updating the desktop client, the ConnectWise Manage to QuickBooks Desktop integration fails with an error.
The upgrade of the desktop client will break the current trust with QuickBooks.
Background: ConnectWise Manage desktop client users may be presented with this popup, advising users to update their manage desktop client as ConnectWise is taking steps to harden their security efforts.
Normally this would be a very simple task, however depending up the activities performed, mainly accounting, this update may present an issue.
Resolution: Follow the steps outlined in the ConnectWise KB article.
The KB article will advise to remove and then re-establish the API integration in QuickBooks.
