Dear Exchange 2016, it was fun but we have to say good-bye...

Connectwise Manage will no longer officially support connectivity to Exchange 2016 after October 1, 2021.  This means if there is a connectivity issue with exchange 2016 there will be no support options available from ConnectWise.

From ConnectWise Support:

Note:
After October 1, 2021, you will no longer receive support for Exchange 2016 as Microsoft mainstream support has ended. It is recommended that you upgrade to Exchange 2019 or newer to receive support. For more information, please visit Supported Versions.

When performing a migration, there are two connectivity points to keep in mind:

  1. Email function (Connectivity for Email Connectors)
    a.  IMAP     System > Setup Tables > Imap List
    b. Office 365    System > Setup Tables > Office 365 Email List

  2. Calendar Sync functions (Integrating Exchange Calendar into Manage and vise versa)    Setup Tables > Calendar Sync Setup

If migrating from Exchange 2016 to Microsoft Office 365, please upgrade any email connectors to use the newer Office 365 connectors instead of IMAP.

Remove all older IMAP connections once O365 connections are activated.

On-Premises Manage installations have a few more steps than cloud instances.   Here are a couple KB articles for your convenience.
