Manage Labs, a set of features designed by the ConnectWise development team, contains some valuable functions worth looking into.
To access Manage Labs; navigate to System > Setup Tables > Manage Labs.
Here is a quick view of current feature sets with highlighted features we strongly suggest looking into.
Calendar Schedule Location Mode | Adds a display mode to My Calendar and the Dispatch portal that displays the location of schedule entries. For more information, please refer to My Calendar. |
Calendar Time Entry Mode | Adds a Time Entry display mode to My Calendar. For more information, please refer to My Calendar. |
Clean Schedule Records | Marks open schedule records older than 90 days along with schedule records on inactive activities and tickets as closed. Also marks inactive activities and activities older than a year as closed. |
Company Lookup | Enables streaming data for company lookup and allows company information to sync for logging of global search issues. |
Company URL Button | Adds a share button to the Company toolbar that provides a direct link to the company for internal members. Viewing the company requires logging into Manage. For more information, please refer to Company Tab – Company. |
Config URL Button | Adds a share button to the Configuration toolbar that provides a direct link to the configuration for internal members. Viewing the ticket requires logging into Manage. For more information, please refer to Configuration Screen. |
Copy Configurations Button | Adds a copy button to the toolbar on the Configuration detail screen to allow copying of configurations. For more information, please refer to Configuration Screen. |
Copy View Button | Adds a button to the toolbar on the Define A View dialog to allow copying of views. For more information, please refer to Using Views. |
Copy Workflow Button | Adds a button to the toolbar on the Workflow detail screen to allow copying of workflows. For more information, please refer to Workflow Rules Setup Table. |
Current Time Sheet | Adds a My Time Sheet button at the top of Manage to direct to the current time sheet. |
Define A View Default Selection | Allows a defined view to be saved as the default view to load. For more information, please refer to Using Views. |
Disable Report Writer Thumbnails | Disables the thumbnails from generating for each report in the Report Writer report list. |
Dispatch Portal Member Filter | Adds a filter to the Dispatch Portal to quickly search for multiple members. For more information, please refer to Dispatch Portal. |
Email Audit | Logs emails leaving from Manage. For more information, please refer to Email Audit. |
Fast Time Entry Popup | Enables the time entry popup on a ticket to load quickly, but disables navigable links within the popup. |
Meeting Invites | Adds meeting invites control to the resource pod. For more information, please refer to Meeting Invites to Tickets. |
Nodus Payment Processor | Makes the ‘Nodus’ option available in the payment processor list on the Invoice tab in the Portal Config setup table. System Flag in the database must be set to 1. |
Reactivate Members | Adds ability to reactivate inactivated regular members. For more information, please refer to Regular Tab – Members Screen. |
Security Role Mass Edit | Mass Action to update security line items. For more information, please refer to Security Roles. |
Service Alert | Allows Service Alert options to be configured at the Company and Contact Type level. When disabled, Service Alert notifications will not appear on service tickets. |
Service Ticket Description Links | Link to other service tickets in your descriptions by including the token #ticketnumber. For more information, please refer to Service Ticket Description Links Setup Table. |
Sort Private Custom Views | Sort private custom views before public custom views. |
State Filter By Country | Filters the state drop down list on a screen based on the country selected. If there is no country selected, all states will be displayed. If a country is selected, all states associated with that country will be available in the drop down in addition to any states that do not have an associated country. |
Status Requests from Ticket Notes | Adds the ability to send status requests directly from ticket notes. For more information, please refer to Ticket Tab – Service Ticket. |
Stopwatch | Adds stopwatch controls to the ticket. Adds stopwatch controls to My List. For more information, please refer to Stopwatch. |
Ticket Link Tooltips | Show a tooltip displaying the summary of the ticket when hovering over ticket links in the service ticket notes pod. |
Ticket Notes | Adds the new Ticket Note experience that comes with rich text formatting and in-line images. |
Time and Expense Period Editing | Adds ability to edit existing time and expense period setups, migrating existing time and expenses to the new setup. |
Time Entry Default Start Time | Time entry will look for the time on your last time entry and use that as your default start time on new time entries. |
